As a wet-type dust collecting device, the wet scrubber separate particles from gas by spraying cleaning liquid to promote cohesion of particles.
The trarette in the tower increases the contacting area of exhaust gas and cleaning liquid, which improves the cleaning effect. Smooth fillers (generally 1/2") are used.
Not only dust in exhaust gas, but also polluted materials and poisonous materials such as fume in gas are removed by cleaning liquid that flows against the flow of gas. Water or NaOH is used as cleaning liquid, and demister is installed to remove mist accompanied with exhaust gas.
